Office Policy

• Office visits are by appointment only at our comfortable and handicapped accessible office. Please contact us at 864-877-5688 for scheduling.

• When making an initial appointment, please have your insurance information available and a list of current medications. This will help our staff determine which of our providers is best fit to help your individual needs.

• South Carolina Psychiatric Group is a participating provider with most major insurance companies. If we do not accept your insurance, we will provide you with an itemized receipt so that you may file your insurance (Please ask the front desk at check-in). We also accept patients on a self-pay basis, contact our office for pricing.

• Payment is expected at time of service. Co-payments and/or deductibles will be collected prior to seeing the provider. We will file covered charges to your primary insurance. We do not file secondary insurance. 

• We do not fill out permanent disability forms. Short term disability forms can be completed only if our providers take you out of work and are subject to a fee. 

• We accept most major credit/debit cards and cash. We do NOT accept checks.

• Please have any referral or office notes from other providers you would like our doctors to have faxed prior to your appointment on our secure fax line 864-877-5684.
